Profile

Geoff is the lead Partner in the firm’s Hospitality and Tourism Team. He represents industry clients in matters relating to sale, purchase, leasing, management, licensing and operation of hotels, motels, wineries, restaurants, bottle shops and other licensed premises. Geoff advises licensees in respect of prosecutions and disciplinary action.

Geoff also advises clients across a wide range of other industries including transport, retail, direct marketing and exporting. He prepares commercial documentation for asset sales as well as leases and contracts of most types.

Most notably, Geoff was the lead partner acting for iconic South Australian brand Yellow Corporation in 2012 on the sale of its taxi division to ASX listed company Cabcharge Ltd. This high profile transaction received extensive media coverage.

With more than 30 years’ commercial experience, Geoff has an excellent understanding of hospitality and tourism as well as a number of other industries.
