James is a dispute resolution lawyer with experience in the Federal Court of Australia and the Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts of South Australia, as well as having represented a number of clients in mediations. James has also been involved in a number of proceedings involving complex property law issues.
James has a keen interest in insolvency law and, in 2014, completed the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (ARITA) Insolvency Education Program. He acts for liquidators, administrators and receivers in South Australia, as well as defending directors of companies in liquidation.
James has successfully litigated unfair preference claims and often provides advice on voidable transaction claims, insolvent trading and breach of director’s duties.
