Malcolm has had high-level experience across property, infrastructure, corporate (transactional and advisory) and contracts (negotiation and enforcement) and also has skills in financing, joint venture, privatisations, securities and commercial litigation. Additional areas of expertise are administrative law, statutory and judicial review and personal and corporate insolvency administrations restructures and rehabilitation.
Malcolm’s clients have included banks, finance houses, specialist insolvency practitioners, publicly listed and private corporates, Government Ministers, Commonwealth and State statutory office holders, authorities, agencies and boards.
Malcolm’s private practice is complemented with technical strengths gained from tertiary sector appointments at twelve universities across four states where he has lectured in contracts, administrative, corporate, property, equity, securities, commercial, banking and finance and insolvency law. He has also been attached to the Practice Division (Business Law) with the NSW Law Society and holds two post graduate legal qualifications (a Masters and a Doctorate).
