Hands On SA Ltd merger

The newly merged entity will oversee a sustainable expansion of HOSA’s operations in the disability employment sector, guaranteeing future employment for people with a disability across South Australia, including metropolitan areas and regional areas such as Kingscote, Murray Bridge and Berri. The merger has secured job opportunities for more than 90 staff and 200 supported employees in South Australia.

The Piper Alderman team, led by James Dickson and supported by Kieren Shattock, worked closely with Hands On SA on all aspects of the transaction, including in relation to due diligence, the structure and documentation of the transaction and the transfer of key government contracts.

The team was also supported by Piper Alderman’s other specialty teams, with our Employment Relations team advising on the transfer of employees and our Real Estate team advising on the transfer of numerous freehold and leasehold properties.
